Moved!

hey! just a few days back, I purchased a domain name for myself - www.absarshah.com. Then, instead of just hosting my personal website up there, I decided to host my blog up there as well. So here it is, my very own blog on my very own host:

I used WordPress to create the blog. It's a really simple and nifty little utility, if you can find a host with PHP and MySQL support (there are dozens out there for free, check out 111mb.com).

Memories Revisited

I visited my old school today, most of my teachers aren't there anymore, but it was still pretty amazing being there. I spent six years on that campus, and seeing most of it unchanged was pretty amazing.

It was about 30 minutes after school closed, and many students had taken off, except for a couple 'love birds' or some unfortunate and lonely souls waiting for their vans. The principal was still there in her office, so I went in to see her as well. It was weird standing in the principals office and not feeling guilty :)

We chatted for a long time about our O'Level and A'Level days, and it was suddenly as if we were past that place where she was my principal, and suddenly she seemed to be so much more of an elder than some strict-ol'-woman-from-the-office :)
It was nice being there after such a long time.
